the snot abounds

so this is what we are dealing with today...

...well and yesterday. and the day before. the snot abounds in the ott house. first i was graced with it's presence. and it still lingers. the coughing has finally hit harper. pretty miserable. hope things are running well for you. ;-)

multi-tasking

just checking my email and having a snack.

girl loves the abc's

harper sings the abc's all day. really. all day. she wakes up singing them, she sings it when she is laying in her bed trying to go to sleep for her nap. she sings it while she is eating dinner. and most songs even morph into the abc's. last night she put on my vest, picked up her shakers and of course sang the abc's. she loves letters too. i'm hoping that she is gonna have her momma's love for reading because of it.

so remember that snowman i was telling you about? well, harper must have a REAL talent for building because she defied gravity with our snowman.

this was our snowman when we went to bed...yes, it is an ARC with nothing supporting the head.


and here it was when we woke up in the morning.


we are THANKFUL that the sun is shining today. maybe our driveway will finally melt. hope your weekend is sunny and warm-ish as well.

i guess i should say snow days! harper's school is closed tomorrow (even though it snowed 4 days ago!!!). just when i had big plans to get some stuff done. anywho...so fun watching the world go by through this little girl's eyes.

we did some sledding.


we built a snowman (that defied gravity...more later).

and had so much fun making snow angels.

we are so excited for 2011! these are the things we are looking forward to: we will get LOTS more masterpieces from our little painter. the 3 of us will finally get to meet baby brother huck. and loving this little boy as much as we love harper. enjoying our NEW kitchen. our summer with david OFF. we are planning some awesome adventures for david's much needed sabatical. some great friends getting married. pretty weather in our pretty neighborhood. david will get to go on tons of rides on his swanky new road bike.
