trick or treat

harper and her best good friend madden - excuse me, jesse and the red power ranger went trick or treating in our neighborhood. such a cute pair those two. huck wasn't all that impressed with it all. he made it very clear he would rather be at home getting ready for bed. there's always next year for that little stinker (PUN INTENDED).

huck gets a hair cut

i can't believe our 8 month old needed a hair cut. yes...8 month old. i feel like i should call Guinness book just to make sure he shouldn't go down in the history books. i thought i was going to be emotional, but i wasn't. i'm sure he was so sick of having hair in his eyes. david did such a good job. keeping an 8 month old still is slightly impossible.

stuck inside on a rainy day

i know i only post videos of huck laughing...but it gets me everytime. it rained ALL DAY yesterday. ALL DAY. so we were stuck inside ALL DAY. you gotta get creative. huck was laughing at harper playing a stop and go game. not sure why it was so funny, but this was the hardest i have ever seen him laugh. a.dor.able.
and we played a lot of dress up yesterday too.
she told me she was princess tutu. sounds like royalty to me.

festibals

we went to a bunch of fall festivals the last couple weekends. or 'festibals' as they are newly named in our house. harper still asks to go to the festibal.

i wish we had taken a picture of how beautiful this tree is. it is a MASSIVE tree right next to this historic mansion and it is bright orange and bright red. it is so amazing.

harper was doing her best 'princess cowgirl wave' as directed by the lady guiding the pony. after all these pony rides she has been taking lately, i'm a little nervous that she is going to ask one of her grandparents for a pony one day (and they just may say yes).

poor huck was taking a nap when we took this picture. i'm kicking myself for not getting a picture of all of us, but this was at windy gap. david spoke on his first weekend camp there a couple weekends ago. of course he did amazingly. duh.

Huck gets baptized

forgive me for going back in time on some of these things...but it has been a little bit busy at our house. huck got baptized a couple weekends ago. i found myself very emotional standing up on stage with family and close friends in the hope that our little man will walk a long life with jesus. our church praying for him as a body is unreal. thank you family, friends and church for being apart of it and praying for huck. he is such a sweet one.

yes, she is this OLD. i can't believe it either. she wanted to wear my heels and use my eye lash curler. it was a little bitter sweet for me. time is going by SO quickly.
