rainbows and ponies

i can't get over this picture. we went to a birthday party a couple weekends ago. harper rode this pony named snuffy. she has talked about snuffy every day since. it started raining, and sure enough my daughter was the one playing in the puddles and the mud. she got her face painted with a rainbow. which she loved because it made her think of the care bears. yes, the care bears are still around! i was shocked that she wanted to ride snuffy. she has been in a 'scared of everything' phase. she is even scared of the light shining through the window onto the wall in the morning. but she got up on the pony like it was nothing. my friend's husband called her a 'renegade'. hahah! i love it. he hasn't seen her squeal over fuzz on the floor that she is convinced is a bug. here's to my little renegade and her pony snuffy.

harper is really into her cowgirl hat these days. she puts her hat on and rides her broom around our living room like a stick horse. can't wait to see her in her jesse costume on halloween. ;-)

i finally got this video yesterday after harper got home from school (after a few failed attempts). i've been meaning to record her new favorite song. david saw it and wanted me to send it to everyone he knows via text. this is way easier. ;-) without further ado...

windy gap with the sweeny's!

david did program 2 weeks ago at windy gap and we had such a fun time spending a couple days with the sweeny's. the sweeny's were a huge part of our wedding. ed officiated the wedding, mcclain was the flower girl and ford was the ring bearer. connor helped with the videography. it was such a blessing to get to hang with their family. those 3 kids are so great. mcclain was amazing with harper...she played with her, took care of her and loved on her. here are some photos that renee took our the 4 kids playing in the sand.
