festibals

we went to a bunch of fall festivals the last couple weekends. or 'festibals' as they are newly named in our house. harper still asks to go to the festibal.

i wish we had taken a picture of how beautiful this tree is. it is a MASSIVE tree right next to this historic mansion and it is bright orange and bright red. it is so amazing.

harper was doing her best 'princess cowgirl wave' as directed by the lady guiding the pony. after all these pony rides she has been taking lately, i'm a little nervous that she is going to ask one of her grandparents for a pony one day (and they just may say yes).

poor huck was taking a nap when we took this picture. i'm kicking myself for not getting a picture of all of us, but this was at windy gap. david spoke on his first weekend camp there a couple weekends ago. of course he did amazingly. duh.

Huck gets baptized

forgive me for going back in time on some of these things...but it has been a little bit busy at our house. huck got baptized a couple weekends ago. i found myself very emotional standing up on stage with family and close friends in the hope that our little man will walk a long life with jesus. our church praying for him as a body is unreal. thank you family, friends and church for being apart of it and praying for huck. he is such a sweet one.

hallow eve

i have a million things i need to blog about, BUT i had to post these pics. here is a little sneak peak of our little munchkins. not much cutier than kids on halloween! here's our little skunk and jesse.

yes, she is this OLD. i can't believe it either. she wanted to wear my heels and use my eye lash curler. it was a little bitter sweet for me. time is going by SO quickly.

Grams comes to visit!

Grams came to visit this week. Both David's parents came for the YL banquet. The banquet was AWESOME and a huge success. And then his mom stayed a couple days. We had a great time at our little park. It was great having a second set of hands. Now if only I could figure out how to multiply myself for work, I would be set. best buddies

life has gotten so fun this last month. i feel like we are out of the fog of most of the hard baby stuff. me and david were just talking about how much fun we are having with two. harper is turning into a little girl right before our eyes. david let her have some gum tonight for the first time. and i literally had to pry it out of her mouth to throw it away. she loved it and kept asking me if she could sleep with it. she asks to hold huck all the time now. they both like riding in the wagon together. it is so precious. harper makes huck laugh so much. and huck is so giggly and interactive. and he finally is on a more normal sleeping schedule with just 2 naps. we go to the park down the street at least once a day (normal twice). and this weather has been amazing...gosh, it's dreamy. i'm thankful to work from home with weather like this!
